Pit Boss Ceramic

Anyone using a Pit Boss K22 ceramic. Picked up one yesterday, still in the truck waiting on help to unload. Walmart has them on clearance, some are $169! Yesterday the store in Knoxville still had 4, Check BrickSeek.

I'm not convinced It'll be better than my Akorn but at that price It'll be nice to try it out.

Unfortunately my local Walmart doesn't have any of them. Don't really need one but at $169 I'd bite. No such luck though.

I don't know what radius BrickSeek checks. When my close ones disappeared I checked the larger cities around. Luckily I had a work reason to pass through Knoxville about 120 miles from home. I probably wouldn't have made a special trip.

On the other hand It is together now and on the base and I'm fairly impressed with what I see so far. Only one fault is a sloppy fit on the top vent, will be an easy fix. Just need to get some wood stove gasket.

Yeah, I'm pleased! I'll report in a while how it compares to the Akorn.
