My name's Phil - I'm from Superior, WI.  I've smoked ribs on my gas grill in the past.  After coming across this site, I was interested in getting a smoker.  I just bought a Master Built 2-door gas smoker.  I tried smoking ribs the other day.  I wanted to maintain a 225 temp; however, I had a heck of time regulating the temp.  After researching on this site, I ordered a Bayou classic needle valve.  

I'm eager to try the valve and try out other recipes and techniques that I've been reading about on the sight.  I happy to be aboard.
