Yes.What I mean is the metal part of the handles are fixed (welded) when you unbox a new Weber Kettle. Only the plastic parts that attach to the handles are installed by the customer. The legs on the unit plug into sockets with push-button tabs that lock them into place. The 3 leg sockets in the bottom of the kettle are the same, and when you insert the legs you can orient it in any one of 3 positions, but only 1 is correct to have a handle in the front.
