I'm looking at getting an AMAZN smoker and now comes the age old question of Pellets VS Dust.  I have no idea what the benefits of either is because I'm such a noob.  Also does anyone know about how long it takes for the stuff to get shipped?

I would get the new AMNPS. It will use both dust and pellets. The pellets will allow much longer smokes for bacon etc.

Shipping..... TJ will prolly have it there before lunch....

Now, hows that for a guy that don't have one ....

I have the 6x8 and use dust, but I only use mine for cold smoking bacon and cheese. Just depends on your needs as whether pellets or dust.

Get the new one. I have been playing with these for a long time and the AMNPS gives you the option to use both dust and pellets and is on sale right now

Same as meateater, I only cold smoke with it so the dust one works for me. If you plan on using it for hot smoking I would definitely get the pellet version, which can be used with dust or pellets.

If you're only gonna cold smoke, save a couple bucks and get the AMNS.

If you think you may want to use it for supplementing smoke during hot smokes, get the AMNPS.

The AMNPS will burn pellets or sawdust.

I sell pellets and sawdust, but you can also get pellets locally.  Makes it more appealing for some customers.

Use Coupon Code = SMF$10 to get $10 off the new AMNPS or AMNPS Package
