I own a Traeger Jr Elite. Want a little bigger grill. The Traeger Jr dies not get up to temp when even 50 degrees or better. I know they make a jacket. Considering Green Mountain or Camp Chef who also sell a jacket. Don’t any hold heat at higher temp? Which one to purchase? Not new to pellet or smokers. I also have a Big Green Egg.

My GMG DB with blanket on holds temp great, I was cooking at 20 deg on Saturday night. I had no issues holding temp the entire time I was cooking. temp hasn't gotten lower than that yet but im sure it will still hold steady, it was very windy as well.

My pellet cooker was a limited budget deal so I went with CampChef 24.
It's been a great cooker, going on two years now.
The pellet dump and ash dump features make it easy to deal with after the cook is done.
