Saw the MWG600B at sams today for $149. Can
Anyone tell me if it is worth trying out for grilling and smoking. I already saw I didn’t like the cheap plastic wheels. It didn’t spend much time looking at it. Any input would be appreciated.

At that price, it's going to be a disposable grill. If you're looking just to try it and see if it's for you, give it a shot but be prepared to toss the $149 out the window real soon and upgrade. You're not going to see the versatility, quality, dependability that you will with a better (read: more expensive) unit, but it may be a good way to get your feet wet.

I agree with tx smoker.....I got the my pellet grill for the convenience of not having to baby sit a long cook and it's great for that, but there's not enough smoke taste for me. I've even tried the mazes and tubes for more smoke, but they use pellets also. Go figure.

My pellet is great for grilling fairly fast, but for long, slow smokes, I'm disappointed.
