I have found a new pellet that has me real excited. Beautiful blue smoke on my 10yr old Traeger BBQ075
First of all, this is not a advertisement... I bought them myself and had shipped to me.
They are "Smokin Pecan Pellets" from a company in Texas.
I ordered them directly with a somewhat reasonable price. But after the success, I think they be my new go-to
They ship in a nice 20lb cardboard box with an easy to pour slot on the top, I haven't seen anyone else do that.
Amazon sells them, too but priced 50%-75% higher from a reseller(?).
I do have a few bags of "KnottyWood" Plum and Plum/Almond blend that I have to give a try, and made locally, to me. I bought these at my local Ace Hardware(Emigh's Ace in Sacramento) Hopefully in the next month I'll try them out, now that the weather has finally turn nice, here in NorCal.

Smokin Pecan Shell pellets have become my #1 go to pellet. I mix them with oak wood chips on a 3/4's - 1/4 blend and they work fine in my Lonestar Grillz 42 x 20 smoker. They put out a nice blue smoke, burn clean and I am not seeing any additional ash. Good aroma when smoking and adds a nice flavor to whatever is on the menu today.

I really like them but they’re expensive and take a while to get delivered in my experience. Save them for special cooks and use lumberjack pecan which are $9.99 for 20 lbs at Rural King for most stuff.
