Pauline's Stuffed Hot Peppers (Mouth Of Seneca W. Va.)

  1. Ingredients:

    50 hot peppers

    6 cloves of garlic

    6 tsp. salt

    6 tsp. vegtable oil

    2 quarts sourkraut

    Hot syrup

    6 cups of water

    6 cups vinegar

    3 cups sugar

     Instructions:

    1-   Clean peppers don't forget to wear rubber gloves                                                

    2-  Boil peppers for 5 min.                                                                                             

    3- Stuff peppers w/sourkraut                                                                                        

    4-  Place peppers in jars-  add one clove of garlic, 1/2 tsp. of salt, and 1 tsp. of vegtable oil.                                                                                                                     

    5 -  Pour hot syrup in jars over peppers.                                                                      

    6-  Seal Jars & hot bath  for 5 min. at full boil.                                                           

    7-  Remove from hot bath and let set until sealed.                                                                   

    Goes great with venison salami or Summer Sausage
