pastrami

decided to do pastrami tonight and bought a corned beef . this might be a dumb question but is the juice from the bag good for anything or should i just pour it over the dogs food. ty for any help

I just throw it down the drain, I figure it's mostly brine and has to be salty.

rinse it good and do a fry test, sometimes they are kind of salty

I wouldn't feed it to the dogs, lots of salt and nitrates in that stuff.
