Dude, looks like a great bowl for mixing up potato or pasta salad, or maybe tossing some pulled Q with finishing sauce!

Only problem is where to store it...

When I make my boudin I have to go to a big deep stainless kettle I've hung on to for some reason and never used it for anything else except when I used to make kimchi. That bowl might be big enough for both!

Looks like a great excuse for a punch bowl of margarita like Ryan said...or maybe whiskey sour punch...heavy on the whiskey...

I dont do a lot of drinking in front of the computer, but I do a lot of recovering from hangovers in the mornings at my desk! Well, not so much hangovers anymore, I dont get headaches, etc. much anymore, just a whole lot of "stupid".

@Flatrate i dont know if it helps or matters but i think Vevor has a clone repurposed or something on amazon it looks similar to the Kratos and is a 14x9 for like 40 dollars less

I use two cast iron skillets, like my Nona did in her restaurant back in the day.
Preheat them both then place the sandwich in between them, works for me.

Sorry for the late response to the last few post, the last two weeks haven't been to good to old Flatrate. To make a long story short, almost two weeks ago I was experiencing some chest pain, thought it was GERD, then this past week it started up again. I ended up going to the ER in the middle of the night, come to find out it was heart related. Got transferred to another hospital and had to have a stent put in, had a 95% blockage. The doctor told my girlfriend that if I would have put it off that in a month or so I would have probably had the big one. I am home now and feeling pretty damn good! Anyways...

Hey Ken, yeah in away I figured its better to have then not have. I figure it will come into play one of these days. I too like Ryan's idea, I don't get hangovers either, well maybe twice a year or so!

Thanks for the response. I saw that Vevor unit and its on my thinking list. I own a unit made by Vevor and so far happy with the one time it has gotten used.

Thats a great idea, never even thought of that. I will give it a shot!

The reason I want a press is the idea of if I want to host a gathering and fire off a bunch of sandwiches for the people, that kinda why I want something large and almost commercial, plus I like "collecting" cooking gear.

Sorry to hear about the heart issue Dave but glad you caught it and feeling better.

My solution is to not have gatherings! I'm sooo over them
