Since I’m from Louisiana, I’ve eaten plenty of shrimp, crabs and especially oysters. I flew to Denver last week and went into a restaurant for supper. They had Mountain Oysters on the menu and I didn't know the difference between them and Gulf of Mexico oysters, but I ordered them anyway.
I asked the waitress “how many do you get on an order?”
She said “2”
I said, “2???. Give me a dozen.”
She said “wow!, you sure must like mountain oysters”
I said “lady, where I come from, we eat ‘em right out of the sack”
