Relatively new user here (though I've posted a few times already).  Received my first smoker this year, a Gen1 MES 30" for my birthday in February.  Did my first pork butt a couple of days later.  People seemed to like it, but I thought it could have been a bit juicier (didn't get any liquid out of the foil).  Currently doing my first brisket (I'll start a separate thread on that).  Have a Maverick ET-733 and recently got a AMNPS.  Using a Classic Accessories Mahogany cover to protect the smoker when I'm not smoking.

When I'm not smoking, I'm an engineer who tends to travel a lot for work.  I just finished an 8 month stint where I was in Northern Cal every week and only home on the weekends.  My wife and I are avid travelers and I collect a ton of frequent flyer miles and hotel points to feed our obsession.  Missing two continents right now - South America and Antarctica.

Welcome to the forum!  Good to have you with us.  I'll go look for the brisket thread.
