So this outfit (Operation BBQ Relief) has been mentioned on the forums many off times before... They dispatch all around the country where ever there has a been a natural disaster.. They cook and feed all the first responders and/or anybody else in need of a meal at ground zero... And it is ALL volunteers...

Well.. They had a natural disaster of their own last week... Here is the Email they sent me (I am a registered volunteer)

Last night, just 24 hours after concluding our first camp for young adult survivors of military loss from TAPS at Camp OBR, tragedy struck. An electrical fire engulfed and destroyed our newly constructed bathhouse, laundry facilities, garages, along with all our linens, tools, ATVs, and golf carts. While this loss is heartbreaking, we are incredibly grateful that no one was injured.
While we have insurance that will assist with rebuilding, we urgently need to replace essential items before our next camp for families of the fallen begins on July 24th. Your support is crucial to ensure we can provide a safe and supportive environment for those who have sacrificed so much for our country.

Last week we welcomed the 25 young adult survivors you see above. Ranging in ages from 18 - 30, they have lost parents, siblings, and a spouse in the military. Our very first camp brought moments of healing and connection to these young people as you can see in the video below. They experienced culinary therapy, water sports, ATV adventures, archery, and nights by the bonfire where US Army Veteran, Skeeter Stone entertained them with card tricks.

Now, as we are only days away from our next camp, expecting 25 more survivors, we need your help. The fire has left us in urgent need of donations in order to replace all the items necessary to have a successful camp. Your generosity today will ensure that we can continue providing a safe and supportive environment for those who have sacrificed so much for our country.
