I've peopled enough for the day. Had to start my day dealing with a difficult customer I really need to fire...like everything is an issue with this guy, he's just looking for a reason for a discount or to get out of his bill, and then it was all down hill from there. Had one of my laser machines for my business break down, part won't be here till next Wednesday so now my production is effected and had UPS reschedule a delivery I really needed for today. Then, to top it off had to spend 2 hours in pickup lines to get the kids from school. On the way home, brakes on the truck started grinding...I had pork steaks I was gonna toss on the grill, but thinking it's a liquid dinner type of night.

Cheers. 😒

Cheers to you Sir. Here's to better days. We have all been there.
It just sucks because the laser issue is really my fault and my own stupidity. I always keep an extra tube or two around for my CO2 laser, but last time it went out I grabbed my backup and failed to order another. Now I'm down to one machine that doesn't have the same capabilities which is going to cost me about half a week's worth of business.

We've all had them! And it sucks when we do! But good to remember, it can always be worse! Just had a friend die of a heart attack earlier this week... he was 55. Left behind a wife and two kids... our daily lives and problems stress us out... trust me, been there many times! But not the most important ! But I'll still join you with a drink or too!

There must be something in the air. Its been a nightmare week here too. I guess all we can do is tighten our chin strap and hit it head on.
Yeah, this whole week has just felt off. I'm ready for the weekend, even though that means doing house projects out in the heat. I'll choose heatstroke over another day like today.

We can always hope for a brighter tomorrow… gotta take the rough with the smooth as my dad always said.

Hope your day goes better today!

I know these days all too well my friend. Just gotta get up and face the day tomorrow and hope its a smidge better. Hope things turn up for ya!

Sounds like how my monday started. Let the brown dog out and she just took off. Looked out and was chasing something that was in the yard. Uh oh, skunk. It beat her to the fence, but couldn't get past that point. She got sprayed. Ugh, her first time. Caught one in the trap this morning so payback was nice. Time to clean them out again.

Well....luckily have a friend in the same industry as me who had a spare tube to lend me so I'm back in business. It pays to have good people in your life.

As for my truck, needs rear brakes, I don't have time to do them myself, so there goes $650. Could be worse, but still sucks.

Bright side, I start building the platform deck for my outsoor kitchen, so there's that to look forward to.

I feel for you. I know how you feel because I've had one of those weeks too.

you always make friends with your surrounding competitors, both of you will need each other to bail each out at some point.

Great wisdom in that post. This is the guy that talked me into starting this business and taught me everything I needed to know. He's taught me so much I felt bad even asking, but I was in a pinch and once again, he came through. People are a dime a dozen, but people like that are extremely rare these days.
