Old Man In The Tree

I used to be wake and bake every morning, one big cough'er form a 3' bong, it was my ritual. I'd die if I tried to clear that bongs bowl now'ah days. :emoji_laughing: :emoji_flushed::emoji_zzz:
I went through that as a younger man and knew plenty of others who did the same thing. I used to have an over an hour commute to work...lot of time to kill! It's crazy in Virginia now. You cant get away from it it seems. Somebody in every parking lot has the skunk rolling. Some people dont realize that legalization doesn't mean you can "drive under the influence" legally and are shocked if a cop pulls them over and charges them with DUI just like with alcohol.

As I got older, started a family, became in charge leading other men, it finally occurred to me "how do you know what a buzz is if you never experience "sober"?".

That's why ya just do smaller hits each time... But yea...
And a much smaller implement :emoji_wink:

I have friends, that still smoke every day... I have no idea how they do it.
The weed we had in the late 70s and 80s was weak in comparison to today's weed.
I just don't enjoy it like I used too, so I pass 99% of the time.
I do use the pain ointments on muscle soreness and spasms, it really helps me.
But its expensive as hell.

By the 90's, "the chronic" was bieng produced. Stuff was so strong I used to buy lesser quality stuff just to cut it. It was literally brain damage. Came out of Baltimore at the time.

I can see doing it every day but not all day. Like with alcohol, its an evening thing for me, but still cant enjoy much of it in any measure of quantity. Really "microdosing" compared to the real users.

In Virginia, growing it in limited quantities is legal. You just cant sell it, so people "donate' for growing supplies:emoji_wink:. I have a buddy that took it to a real science, tinctures, all that. He tweaked his plants for totally organic and smoothness of smoke rather than just potency. Although, still way stronger than that 70's Mexican brick weed. I wouldn't touch the stuff anymore if I didn't have a clean source. These days, off the street? Good grief, it could be dusted with fentanyl. I'm too old for that action.
