Hoping I can get some input here.
I have 2 OKJ and I'm thinking about cutting the ends off and welding them into one. Making the cooking chamber about 20"x78" and adding a plate to make it a reverse smoker. Has anyone done such a thing. Would 20" diameter be enough for that length for a reverse. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

I have seen others do that on other sites. Even saw one here locally on FB marketplace. Never seen one as a reverse flow though. I'd say if you're experimenting go for it and give it a shot. You can always go back to just a traditional flow I would think.
