Hi im new here and new to meat smoking.. i got the oklahoma joe highland as a gift seems decent quality at least for as often as i will be using it at the moment. Based 9ff what i read so far i need to seal all the door openings and any other gap. Is the best way to do this with high temp silicone?...
Also if i could get some basic onowledge how to use it. Do i need a charcoal basket for the fire box? How much charcoal do i use? Do i need to wait til thenc9als are all white before placing wood on it? Sorry so many questions but iv never used anything beside propane bar b q
