Random question…any one just go out to you smoker and open it (on a no cook day) to smell the remnants of past cooks? Like the ghost of cooks past? No?…just me?…ok move along….

Interesting question Jim. Our patio faces southwest so we get the intense afternoon sun. With all the cookers being black they draw some severe heat while we are in the pool. Even if there's nothing cooking, the cookers heat up from the sun and the aroma is tantalizing. Not uncommon for the therm on the smoker to be reading 150 when it's not even fired up and not uncommon to get a text message from a neighbor asking what's cooking...even though there's nothing going.

Sure am glad I'm not the only one with this problem! I vonder does anyone make cologne like it?
Was smoking some bacon Sunday and my wife just loved when I came in from tending it!

This is the canvass we put over the firepit when camping...years of campfire smoke on it. My wife would love to hang it on the wall in the house during the winter!
