I have had an off weekend.  The wife is tired of anything smoked (crazy b****) so I was banned from smoking mac-n-cheese to take over to a friend's house, they purchased a pork butt (woe is me), and today, well just sucked!!!!

So I sat here thinking about what I could smoke and how it might piss off the wife....

I saw someone was smoking bananas...I'm thinking smoked banana pudding, smoked bananas foster, you name it.

This morning I boiled some eggs...I'm thinking of putting them in the MES with the AMNS and whipping up some smoked egg salad.

Sauerbraten is on the menu tonight and I'm thinking....how much better this would be if I had smoked the beef after marinating for the required three days....

Then, I think how about smoked lasagna, or smoked enchiladas?  The possibilities are endless and I am looking forward to trying many new ideas.

Then I thought, maybe these ideas aren't so new as I remember some of my favorite SMF members (Cowgirl & Squirrel), surely they have thought of everything.

So...what ideas does everyone have?  Do you have some q-view to share?  Will you share your recipes?

My plan over the next few weeks is to fire up the WSM, the MES, and even the old CG w/ SFB to crank out some new recipes.

Any ideas will be appreciated.

Looking forward to trying new things.

Yesterday I smoked a Ground Pork, Ground Turkey, stuffing with some cranberry sause & juice mixed in for the dry Turkey. It was a huge hit, funny thing is I explained to my wife what I was planning on doing so she assembled the fatty while I was running errands. I forgot a major detail, the bacon weave...she wrapped in in Bacon then tied some cooking twine around it. Don't laugh at the pictures, like I said, for the first one I ever cooked it was out of this world.

It was huge too, probably about 6lbs. Also did a chuck roast but the fattie stole the show!

Looks good...

My wife loves to help out when I do ribs & butts, but she certainly will let me know when she's tired of the smoking...

Love her, but boy when she gets in one of those moods...look out
