Someday I may learn...probably not, To read the description when you buy something! I have a weird hobby of collecting bluetooth speakers. At last count I have 20 or so. So, on to my point. A few days ago I found another one I "had" to have. Had great reviews. And it was on sale at a good price. I really should have looked further into it when people kept saying it was large. Heck, I have a JBL extreme that's on the large side. Well......

This mother is about 25 pounds! Very nice sound too. Lol! This will not fit on my shelf.

Funny story. Interestingly enough I have the same issue. I see the pic, think it's a "must have" and order it only to find that there's a large difference between that I wanted to think it was and what it actually is. Oh well, thankfully I have lots of space to store those things and friends to share them with when they aren't what I expected them to be.

Collecting Bluetooth speakers? Now that's a new one on me, but people collect all sorts of things. Collecting belly button lint is weird :emoji_grinning:. I collect older fishing reels, Ambassadeur 7000's to be exact. At last count, I had 36, but they are an obsession and I'm always on the lookout for the next one.

I seem to have a similar affliction. I am collecting old oscilloscopes to repair and sell.
So far, I haven't tried to sell any. My wife just shaker her head and rolls her eyes when
I get another scope.
On the other hand, when not repairing scopes, I cook with the smokers and sous vide.

Dial up some War Pigs on that thing and let 'er rip . Maybe some Sweet leaf .
I keep the house pretty cold summer and winter . My kids are all about the blanket . So they ordered a " custom " blanket with a picture of our dog on them .
They showed up ,,, 2' x 3' . LOL .

My thing was Glass Christmas Ornaments, until one year the Cat jumped in the Tree knocking it over and destroying most of them.😢...JJ

Now there's an interesting visual for a Sunday morning: Steve strutting down the street with a refrigerator on his shoulder and the volume blasting away to irritate all the neighbors :emoji_laughing: Hey, it could happen....

Back in the day...back in the day. :emoji_laughing:

I have a Bugani, a bit smaller than this. But find the large size is required for outside use. (Perhaps my neighbors don't agree?) I can carry the speaker about anywhere, but keep the tablet with my music collection in the shade, but within BT reach.
And I was unaware of a Sony model in this size. I've usually been impressed with the sound quality from Sony products...something that's hard to compare with the dearth of Brick&Mortar HiFi outlets and the limited selection at the ones that exist. My Bugani had great reviews, but I don't think classical music lovers were among the reviewers.
I'd say you made out well with this. Enjoy it...especially outdoors.

Thanks Bill. I had a Bugani M83. But one of my kids borrowed it. And dropped it off a roof of a house they were working on. It didn't survive the fall. Which one do you have? This is a Sony GTKXB72. Total 470 watts. My favorites brands are Bose, Sony, and JBL. Though I have a few no names that aren't bad.
