Not so new!

Hey all! My name is John. I reside in Huntington Beach CA. I am originally from Michigan, but decided to stay here after I got out of the Marine Corps. I have been smoking for about 7 years now. I use a Brinkman propane smoker, 2 Brinkman charcoal, and a Weber charcoal for all of my my smoking. I have visited the forum quite a bit over the last year or so. Man have I seen some really good stuff on here. There seems to be a lot of good cooks on here and good people in general. I have smoked quite a bit of stuff over the years, but pulled pork and smoked trout I do the most.

Looking forward to meeting some new people here and hopefully tuning my smoking skills with some or all of your help!

Welcome John.  Glad to have another smoker from So CA. I know all about traffic - I have two offices one in San Diego  and one is in Santa Ana so I get to travel to both regularly.

Thanks!  I was stationed here in CA while I was in the Marine Corps.  Traffic is a pain everywhere, but you all back there are a little too slow for me!  Nobodys in a hurry to get anywhere, at least in Michigan anyways.  LOL
