My son was born close to 12 yrs ago.

A few years ago I noticed it was getting harder to keep him interested in athletic activities due to electronic pressure.

At the age of 6 I invested aprox 700 US in a nitro powered RC truck.

He chased it around the yard as he wrecked it to flip it over, or put it back on track.

He now sets stationary as I or track officials do what was once his job.

I now have " 2500 US "  just in trucks (2) . There are countless hours in repairs. Such as the last. We now have a race team. One of the drivers snapped a truck in half on a set of gap hills they misjudged speed entering the obstacle.

Two weeks I have spent cutting out a new Stainless st frame, aluminium front skid. steering gears, as well as necessary mods....

My steering gear was flawed and the drivers mocked me for my failure as it only made 3 laps before stripping the steering gear.

I bought no part to repair it. ..........

Im not sure if they learned anything. Do you?

Ohh well...

The purpose of this youth group is to get them to live something other than a virtual life.

Ohh BTW... If he mocks my fabrication abilities again........ he can build his own truck.

Anyone who want to sponsor our team can PM me. If you would like any info on starting a youth group you should contact any group that promotes kids and adults spending time together. Especially in a parental capacity.
