No more degreasers in my grills and smokers

No more soaps/ chemical degreasers in my cookers.   The  grill cleaning threads got me thinking about cleaning out mine more thoroughly besides wiping out the grease.    

A few blasts with this and a wire brush and it's all good...no water, degreasers or chemicals....oh and it works on weeds of course.

try coating all surfaces with vinegar first to loosen grease, works great and all natural.

It's a lot more fun using the "dragons breath" (propane wand torch) you got the right idea FWI! I usually try will get my grill super hit if I run out of propane close the lid then hit it really good with wire brush!

LOL, that grease and creosote is no match for a flame thrower!

Flame On! I use the flame thrower on the 60 Lang quite often. I'm gonna have to give this a think or twa for the stainless steel grill.

  At our BBQ last night we were experimenting cutting glass bottles with string soaked in acetone and a torch. This progressed to using wire instead of the string. Eventually the ladies made us quit

Something about flying shards of glass and trying to burn down the deck...

 ..... LOL on cutting glass bottles.    I'm having too much fun with my torch....even started doing the neighbors weeds so i had an excuse to use it.  Now i can add smoker cleaning and charcoal starting to the list.
