Hey all, next project for the kids and I... turning this into a smoker! Pretty excited about doing this! Still trying to figure out how exactly it is all going to come together! Any suggestions are welcome!

Needs cleaned up a bit, will do that when we get started!

Looks like good starter material. What do you plan on using for heat?
And remember to change out the insulation. A lot of those old fridges used cardboard.

Very cool! I’ve never done a fridge build before but thinking of an insulated fire box in a cart that the fridge sits on....but again just spit balling......

I'd be more worried about asbestos then cardboard.

Looks like a fun project to do with the kiddos.

Looks Kinda like the first Fridge Me & Mrs Bear had, back in 1971.
