Just joined the forum so here's a little background. I live in eastern Maryland and am fairly new to smoking. I bought a small smoker from The Sausage Maker several years ago and have done some small batches of sausage sticks but that's about it. I bowhunt from Sept thru Jan so I usually have plenty of venison for jerky and smoking. I want to step up my smoking abilities so I'm building a smokehouse. I'm sure I'll have alot of questions through this process and anyone's advice is welcome.
