Hey everyone!!  My name is Kevin and I have been smoking on a master forge verticle propane for about one year.  Aboslutely love it.  I recently bought a COS and I am having a terrible time getting an even termperature.  I knew this would be an issue and I have started making modifications but am still struggling.  I love my verticle except for having to pull out the racks to mop and its not big enough.  Anyway I was looking on the web and came across this great site.  I am in upstate N.Y.

Welcome neighbor! Here's a couple things I've done to my smoker. It has helped tremendously. This thing sips gas since the mods. Running on very low ( almost as low as it will go ) and maintaining 225 nicely.
