Hello! Wife got me an electric smoker for Christmas! Never used one before but excited to get started! Breaking it in right tomorrow with a 6 pound boneless pork loin. Any suggestions on how to do it-Type of
Wood? Time and temp? Injection or not? I’m all ears with this and anything else you recommend that’s good on the ole electric!
 
Congratulation on the new smoker and welcome to the dark side. Internal temperature is 145*. Pull it at 142 or so and let the carry-over take care of the rest. I like SPOG simple but foolproof. As for wood - fruit wood is always good with pork. I've never injected so no help there, sorry.
