So I'm reading these threads on smoking cheese. Obviously don' t want heat in the smoker, so do I just use my pellet tubes and no smoke from the smoker ? Or do I run my smoker on the "Smoke" setting and use tubes also ? TIA
Absolutely the best method.No heat for doing cheese . use a tube or tray .
I wish my pooper did that featureYou will need to create a draft so the smoke doesn't go stale. My pellet pooper, the fan will run when I power it on but no heat til I set the temp and start it. I just run a tube of pellets for 3 - 4 hours with the fan running. I put the cheese on frogmats sitting on the grates. I also rotate the cheese halfway through for even color.
