Newbie in Utah

I live in Utah and recently got a brinkmann electrical smoker for Christmas. Pretty stoked to start tinkering with it, and will be searching around on how to make this cheap smoker put out something decent.

Sure I live in St George Utah which is a couple hours north of Las Vegas. I am a technician in the mobile phone industry. I am also a second shooter and do post process work (photoshop) for my wife who is a photographer. I love to tinker and learn new things. With that said, I'm just excited to learn and mess with something new.
