Hey there!
Been getting the Smoking-Meat.com newsletters for some time now. Just today I purchased Jeff's rib n rub recipe, can't wait to use it. I currently use a Brinkman Smoke N' Grill. I have been BBQ-ing meat for some time now, but only started smoking meat for over a year. Best present I asked my wife for was the smoker. I only use charcoal and flavored woods. I have tried a few charcoals but still prefer the ol' standard....Kingsford Original. I can't go back to my Weber propane now. I've smoked many meatsand such on my Brinkman including Garlic heads, Ribs, Brisket, Chicken, Bacon,Pork Butts and last year a 20 plus lb. turkey for Thanksgiving. Juiciest turkey ever! I started that bird at 4 am! I'm looking forward to reading this forum for tips. I will post pics next month as I am doing the Thanksgiving bird again for my entire family of 29. This time I'm trying Jeff's Buttermilk recipe. It looks delicious!
