Howdy.  I just got myself an electric smoker to learn how to successfully smoke meats and anything else I get the urge to cook.  I aspire to learn how to perfect the Beef Brisket, Ribs, anything pork..... Thanks in advance to anyone that takes the time to respond. thanks.

You're in the right place.  Welcome!

The search bar is your friend but don't be shy about asking questions too.

The best way to 'master' this is to do it over and over and over and over and ... well you get the point.

Like anything practice makes perfect.  Don't be afraid to try something just because someone says its hard.  I did a brisket for my 2nd smoke after someone told me I was nuts to do it and it was the best brisket I've every had.
