Greetings and Salutations, fellow BBQers,

Im new to this forum, but have been getting Jeff's newsletter for a couple of years now. I found his site when my kids bought me my first smoker 3 years ago. THey bought me a Bar B Chef (BBQ Galore) offset smoker. Since then, it has gotten a lot of usage and looks worse for wear.

This year, my wife bought me a Masterbuilt XL gasser. I was watching the thread on modifications and now have mine modified too. THis smoker will be placed next to my BBQ island in our newly added outdoor kitchen. It looks right in place with the new Bull 5 burner Island and the new area will be a great addition top our home.

As for my limited skills with the smokers, thats why Im here.  I found a long time ago to check out forums to avoid MFR hype and less than partial reviews of about anything. Hopefully, I can really up my backyard skill levels with what I learn here. Im looking forward to it.

Mike
