I was going for my third plate and thought I would have to share the work Bride and #2 Granddaughter went to the last few days...

Breaded, deep fried wings brushed with some flavorful hot sauce and baked in the oven....

AND MISSING IS.....  sautéed in used*** schmaltz chopped chicken livers with onions and hard eggs...   It's the best....  well 2nd to the Sockeye....

Assorted Christmas Cookies, Salmon ball, Shrimp on cream cheese with chili sauce in the middle, Rice crackers for the shrimp stuff..

Breaded deep fried chicken livers, smoked Sockeye...

Onion dip...

My third plate.... upper left corner is chopped chicken livers on sourdough party bread...   and straight up is Brides home made Almond Roca, (better than store bought)...

*** used schmaltz.....  we buy those 10# bags of hind quarters from W-M...  season the quarters well.... bake until done on a wire rack and double sheet pan....   the double sheet pan keeps the schmaltz from burning and we pour off the chicken fat (schmaltz) to save for special stuff...  so now the schmaltz is seasoned perfectly and has that baked chicken flavor also...
