Hey guys,

I haven't posted anything since last year when I first joined. Had a cheap smoker to get me through the year. I smoked about 15 racks of ribs, one 15 lb. brisket, and a few pork butts throughout last summer. I have since upgraded to an Oklahoma Joe Highland to get me through this year. My first smoke is planned for this coming Sunday. I am doing 3 racks of spare ribs for my parents and wife. Super excited to get this year going. My butcher is going to love me haha.

I think that a new smoker every year is a little much. But, if that's what you want, it's ok with me. Good luck and good smoking, Joe. :grilling_smilie:

It's not that I buy a new one every year haha, the mrs. would kill me. This one was bought to replace the cheap temporary one I had for last season. This one will be around until it no longer serves its purpose.

Awesome! Let us know how.it works
I currently have a chargriller, just a temp. But man I can smoke on it, just not very efficient. I'll be upgrading in a year or two

Looking back at your smoker, I would put a therm in the outlet in the door that is closer to the FB. That way I could better determine any difference over the length of the CC. It's not an absolute necessity, it just sounds good to me.

That's a nice looking rig. Joe. :grilling_smilie:
