  1. Had an electric Old Smokey for about three years and owner of a new (as of today) Webber 22inch Charcoal grill.

I am looking forward to using the forum to learn, and to help me expand passed smoked pork and chicken.

Welcome!  Did you get a Smokey Mountain or the traditional kettle?

This is a great site! I am in Charlotte too
  4. I got a traditional Kettle, since I already have the electric smoker and it appears to be working just fine.

I just need to expand my meats and experiment, and get more confident. I figured I would use this forum to just that.

Nice!  My kettle gets fired up 2 or three times a week.  My latest adventure is tri-tip, and it has been super.  They are just somewhat pricey when available.  Grilled, steaks, wings, salmon, pork chops...all come out great on the kettle!

You are in the right place to learn about more than just grilling hot dogs.

Lots of info here and others to help with questions.

    Keep Smokin.
