Hi my name is Mike Wolf AKA Wolfman1955. I live in Ohio, and have been Smokin meat off and on for 30 years.
I started Smokin after I went to my first hog roast, where the hole hog had been prepaired in a homemade smoker that some guy made out of an old 250 gallon fuel oil thank. I fell in love with the moist, smokey flavor and have been hooked ever sence.

I have smoked with several different devices through the years, some store bought but mostly ones that I have made out of old grills and such. I have used primarily charcoal for heat, but I have had a couple of small Binkman electric smokers.

I just bought my first propane fired unit a Smoke Hollow Pro Series 44 cabinet smoker yesterday, and I can't wait until I get a little free time to break it in.

I have done alot of Smokin but only pork and turkey. I joind the Forum hoping to gain knowledge about smoking other foods, without having to go through a trial and error process like I did when the first turkey I smoked tasted like and had the texture of someones 10 year old workboot!!

Thanks for reading my first ever post on any forum hope it wasn't to long.
