Hey y'all, Dennis here from the KY/TN line. I've been smoking meat for about 3 years now and I live it. I started out on a master forge dual chamber charcoal grill. It got the job done. This was down in Mississipp when I was living there for a whilei. Then when I moved back to where I am now I was taking some stuff to the dump and low and behold there it was. A New Braunsfeilds offset smoker. So I saved it and got to smoking on that. It was all beat up, the fire box door didn't seal at all, and it leaked like a sive, but it got the job done. While I was deployed my wonderful wife got me a Oklahoma Joe Highland and I've been learning this pit slowly but surely.

I love smoking food. It's awesome. I can't wait to hang out in the forums and check out all the BBQ everyone is throwing down. Happy smoking!
