  1. My name is Todd Davidson. My wife and I live in the Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina. My wife bought me the Master Built electric smoker about six months ago. ive been a cook for 30+ years. but I love this smoker. I am a fisherman and catch Bass, Trout, Catfish, Croppie , We like all fish. I am into experimenting with tastes and new things to smoke. I just did a Vidalia Onion. I cut the top off peeled the onion cut down to quarter the onion but not all the way thru. I then stuffed the onion with a bullion cube three pads of butter salt and pepper, wrapped it in tinfoil leaving to top open I put in a 1/4 cup beef stock and put it in with my pork butt for the last two hours off cooking... all I can say is, Give this a try it was mouth watering good. This is a great place to get ideas from and help if needed . Thank you for the site. Im a Vet US Army. Thank you to all who served..God Bless

Welcome to SMF from NC! :welcome:
We're glad to have you. The search bar at the top is your most valuable resource here. This forum has been around for over ten years, so there is a good chance that any questions you may have, have already been answered (they may have 10 different answers, but you'll get an instant response non the less).
Please be sure to post your smokes along with your process and recipes. We will be glad to help you along the way and we may also learn something new ourselves in the process. Also, don't forget the very important Q view! (We're mad for pics on here 😁)
Always remember to have fun because it's not fun if you have to work at it.
    Thanks for joining,
    - Ryan
