HI Yall... I live in Central Oregon in high desert country.  I'm 74 years old so I'm naturally interested in anything called preserving.  My son gave me a new propane smoker (smoke hollow) for Christmas.  I've smoked some of my Alaska salmon I caught last summer with mixed results.  Guess learning from mistakes is still good learning. I've also done some pork butt and a brisket.  I'm looking forward to exploring new things to smoke.
