New to forum, would like advice!

Hi all!

I’m new to the forum from the UK. I’ve got an offset smoker similar to the Oklahoma Joe highland and I’m looking to upgrade the 3” stack to a 4” one for better draw. The diameter of the hole from the cooking chamber is 3”, could I simply attach a 4” stack over the 3” hole which would make the draw better?

Welcome to the fam! I am no expert, but I think the hole should match the stack diameter or it would have the desired affect. I'll let the experts speak to that - this is just my physics education speaking.

I agree with sandyut. Match the vent to the stack diameter.
