New to BBQ

Hey there i am new to smoking and am really excited to get started.  I am looking to get a new smoker and have been looking at the masterbuilt 30 in smokehouse and was looking for advice on this.  ill use this site for tips to making my back yard parties that much better.

Not sure what the difference in price is for the MES 30 and 40 but I'd look at the difference in size...I have the MES40 and I'm glad I got the larger one.
