Hello All,

I am just starting smoking in Santa Cruz, CA. Picked up an old Char-Grill offset (small I believe) off the side of the road with no model number or anything. Sign said "free to a good home."  I have wanted to smoke for a while so I picked it up and dragged it home where I figure I can make a happy home for it.  Spoke with previous owner who said it still works great but hasn't had much action recently due to bigger purchases he has made. I am going to try my hand with a tri-tip tomorrow and see how it goes. Any suggestions for that would be much appreciated.

Any suggestions in general would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!!
