This is my 2nd time ive ever truly smoked on a smoker and its on the smoker i built. Its a good feeling. She isnt pretty but she works great! Yesterday i did spareribs and they were really good. Today im trying my hand at brisket. Its been on for 6 hrs at 250°. The smoker holds temp very well. Im not sure if the fire bricks help or not but im leaving them in lol. Happy memorial day weekend everyone

Looks like she works pretty good, judging by the looks of your brisket.

I would think that the fire brick would help even out the temps. Keep us posted on how she works out.
