i love to cook ! , now i want to get into some serious BBQ
just ordered a electric pellet smoker.
i currently own a charbroil -RED grill that i had intentions of smoking with... but its not a smoker.
 
wow TX , is a pretty big displacement ...
im in Long Island - Suffolk

Born in Queens, raised in Bethpage. Hung out in Farmingdale a lot as a kid when Raquet & Rink was still there. Used to work in the airline biz so transferred down here for work many, many moons ago.
 
First off welcome Smokey to SMF. It sounds like you are well on your way to be an outstanding new member of this fine site. You'll like it here cause there are abunch of good folks here that would just love to help you out with just about anything to do with smoking. We really like to have newbies here because they can bring in a new propective to how things are done. There's nothing like a new set of eyes to give and new way to make things that little differant to make things alittle better. So I hope you know about the Qview here.

It's also free and it will give you the basics of smoking. So after all of that you just need to go grab something to smoke and if you have any question just post them here and we will answer it quickly so you don't have any mishaps with your smoke.

i have a photobucket account, and i caught on to the bb"Qview" you got going. ill be willing to Qview as well !

i was just told today my smoker should be shipping out next tuesday or so, with any luck ill be able to fire it up next weekend

ill probably be doing ribs , a whole chicken,some bacon.
maybe some whole peppers and some ABT's, never heard that term before ... but i got a warm fuzzy feeling when i saw what they were ...
i love jalapeno poppers !
