New Smoker For Christmas!

I am so excited! I shall be receiving a new Char-Broil smoker within the week! Just waiting on Walmart to kick itself back into gear and start shipping.

I know I'll be making the mods before I can actually break it in. So far, I'm figuring I'll be needing to extend the pipe down, add the heat baffle, RTV sealing, couple of coats of high temp Rustoleum, etc. There were a bunch of mods I had read about on several forums and sites that I may implement when needed.

Dude the waiting is hell I had to wait days on my gosm and the main wallyworld warehouse is only 3hr down the road from me. You could always start brineing or injecting now so you will be setting on go.

Congratulation! I hate the wait and have been known to pay a little more just to get something locally so I don't have to wait for it. Have fun making your mods and make sure to post some Q-Views from your first smoke.

Like Tom Petty says, "the waiting is the hardest part". ON vacation paiting the kitchen and waiting for UPS to drop off my WSM 22.5. Says out for delivery on the tracking info since early am lol. The mods are the fun part and the anticipation when you finish and prep for that first smoke is very exciting. Good Luck!
