Hi Ya'll,

38 male from Michigan looking to join your world.

I'm a smoked meats lover, but never a maker other than some propane w/ wood chips, smoker bags, and sous vide with liquid smoke. That'll be changing soon as I'll be getting a new smoker/grill once I make my final decision and get a free weekend. I'll start a thread about the comparison soon enough, likely in General discussion since the choices are both propane/charcoal/firebox all-in-one and so doesn't fit in a specific equipment category. I've looked at both the Oklahoma Joe Longhorn Combo and the Char-Griller Texas Trio quite a bit, and if someone is ever comparing them I hope my thread may help them.

Anyway, thanks for having me and all that I've learned so far!

Welcome to the site, and good luck with making your choice.

Chris
