So, I was given my fathers smoker, and it seems the regulator has stopped working. I need to replace it, but the issue is, its not like my grill or the other hundreds of grills I have looked at today.

My issue is, the tube disconnects from the regulator, but does NOT from the smoker itself, and that being said, the thread size is much smaller than anything at the store, or that I can find on line. Any assistance is greatful, and I will post an image to go along with it!

If the low pressure hose attached to the smoker has a smaller male thread than the female threads on a replacement regulator, that is an easy fix.

Go to the plumbing department and look for brass reducer bushings.
I assume your hose has a 1/4" male pipe thread and the replacement regulator has 3/8" female (internal) pipe thread

Don't forget a tube of gas line pipe dope. Low pressure means low chance of leaks, but teflon tape isn't gas approved as it will rot.

You sir are my savior! I will be getting this and a new regulator tonight and firing her up!
