I think I mentioned a while back our oven died right after thanksgiving. The old refer is a GE, its the last of the GE appliances that came in the house...the rest have died. The old refer is loud AF.

When we remodeled our old house we put in a Wolf and Subzero. They were hard to leave behind.

Had to order the new Wolf and Thermador Refer...took 2 months to get here but tomorrow is the install day! Very excited. I'll post up pics after the install.

You're spending some serious not so spare change on appliances the past couple of years.

SO? When does Yur new Restaurant open? LOL!

STD sized ones or stretched? I do miss our older semi open burner range top/griddle unit. The griddle was the bomb!

Std on both. Kitchen wont fit anything bigger without a full remodel and we are not going there.

true, the ones we put in the old house were worth it. Sold the house in one day.

Buy once cry once. cant deal with buying new appliances just to have them crap out prematurely. All the GE stuff that came in our house here, has died before 5 years old. Refer still works but it has this crazy loud cycle a couple times a day. we can her "the grinder".

Today is the big reveal, Dave. Show us those newly installed wonders...
On it! Wolf upped their game quite a bot since we bought our first one. this one is a lot more refined. I liked the ice dispenser on the door of the old refer, but it sacrifices a lot of freezer space...and I we are not fans of side by sides.

Very nice on both! the Thermador handles even match the wolf range handle. Did you end up going with a gas oven or duel on the range? either way wolf ovens are the bomb in a good way!

Thanks! Dual fuel on the Wolf. I love how the handles are so similar.

Ah so the dual osculating convection fans...... Nothing like cooking in stereo air!!!!
Pretty stoked! this replaced a 20+ year old Kitchenaid that had an abused life. Convection was dead when we moved in, oven broke right before thanksgiving, if you bump the knobs the gas turned on unintentionally...and so on. So this is like going from a VW to a mercedes. And back to where we were when we left SLC, which is nice.

Funny story on our experience with dual fuel. When we bought our stove we asked for duel fuel thinking we could use gas when the power is out.

The sales rep. didn't say anything and rang it up. He must have been laughing though. It's an electric lower element and a gas upper element. They do not operate independently. Because of duel fuel we lost the use of the warming drawer, and did not have the convection fan as an available option.

We've had this dang thing for 22 years now. Hate it.........

It looks like standard 32" width, which is what we're limited to. What's the BTU on the large burner?

The two front are higher btu then back, the back left is the low simmer burner.... The oven of this range is the real deal oven! Anything above 15K in a residential range is really hot burner for higher than that one will need a large pan to avoid heat spill. We looked at this range really hard before we went with a 36-inch range top and double oven.
