I refuse to live in a place where i can`t cook on whatever i want.

Go ahead and mess with my horns and see what happens.

No doubt, I couldn't live in a HOA controlled place, I'd end up going nuclear on them. I mind my own business, and expect people to do the same with me.

Christmas came early! Too early. The email I got from the shipping company said it would be here on Friday at the soonest. I wasn't even at work for an hour this morning, when the driver calls me and says, "I'm here!"
I ask if he can leave it at my door? He says the pallet won't fit in the elevator. Pallet?? It's strapped to a pallet?
Yep, and all he's got is a pallet jack. No hand truck, and it's close to 300 lbs.
Since I'm over 60 minutes away via mass transit, he has to drop it in the lobby, next to the mailboxes.
I get there with cutters and a hand truck as fast as I can. But not before getting an email from the HOA pres, asking basically "WTF?" She also sent along another copy of the rules, which I reminded her I am in compliance with. No charcoal, no large propane. Didn't say anything about electric or pellet. (I have a feeling that the next person who tries this, might not be so lucky. )

YIKES!
Well i`m glad you got it in good shape.
Tell Karen at the HOA to shut the hell up and mind her own damn business, or she`ll get the horn.

Dang, 300 lbs ! When I got my Pit Boss (80 lbs), I got the box into the garage and brought it in piece by piece to assemble. Much easier than trying to lug the full box around. Have fun building your RecTeq. I love doing that kind of stuff.
