Hello All,
I'm Curt, from Lumberton, TX. I'm picking up a used Jambo J3 tomorrow. Never thought I would have, or even need, a pit like this but the stars aligned and I jumped on it while it was available. I know it will be a whole new learning curve from my previous Walmart/Academy pits but I can't wait get started. Advice and suggestions are always appreciated.

Welcome aboard. That sure is a nice looking smoker.

Chris

Welcome from Gilbert, AZ! Great looking smoker, a cut above just about any other I've seen. Post your cooks with lots of pics! RAY

Rare to find a used Jambo for sale. They sure have a cult following. I’d imagine fire management is going to be far easier than shan’t you’ve experienced prior

Those Jambo pits are the bomb. Can't wait to see some of your cooks off that bad boy.

Welcome. What an amazing looking smoker. Post some pics of it, we all love pictures.

I've seen Malcom Reed (I call him the Fat Man) many times using a Jambo. Looks like a winner even before you post pics,

Welcome in!
Nice looking rig on the website. Let's see some Q with it!
Smokers can be like bass boats. I've yet to see a largemouth jump into a Nitro nor a good q come out of a pit without someone knowing how to use it.

I took Johnny Trigg’s class a while back and we cooked on a Jambo. That is one sweet rig. If you decide you don’t like it by all means get a hold of me first. 😂.
Congrats on your new rig and as everyone said we’re looking forward to pictures.

Have had this beast locked up on the garage all week waiting for a chance to light it up. First test run is today. No meat, just learning to run the pit. So far she runs hotter than I’m used to. Time and practice will tell
